I had the pleasure of meeting up with Auggie the Hedgehog over the weekend. He was so photogenic that I regreted the three photo limit on my posts. Nevertheless, I hope this series shows his incredible ability to turn from a ball of spines into a hedgehog. A true master of disguise he also can pass as an ENGLISH LORD, an EMO KID, or a CATHOLIC POPE.

omg! now you've made it worth my while to visit this blog!
I'd just like to clarify that hand belongs to my friend, Chris Rodriguez, not MJB.
I noticed that the hand in this photo wasn't as well manicured as MJB's. No offense to Rodriguez, but afterall, MJB is a hand model. Most people's hands look haggard next to his.
Its true, my hands are impeccable. But Chris does have special Auggie managing skills. He uses his hands a lot like croc dundee (one of the heros of this site) uses his hands against wild animals: as a means to communicate with other species.
As you can see from the picture series, Chris employs a gentle touch (with just a couple fingers) to wake Auggie from his spiny rolled up mode and encourage him to smile for the camera. He also knew exactly where on the belly to touch the hedgehog, and avoided any encounter with the spines.
enough about the people! how cute is that little thing??
Wow, hedgehogs are real? Get outta here!
Is that a baby HH? Did you take it from it's family? Where did you put it after? Back where you found it? In the garage? In your pocket? What's wrong with you?
It's really very cute! Good score!
This HH is a pet of our friend Chris Rodriguez (C-Rod). He's been taking care of Auggie for some time now and he actually does not call himself C-Rod.
Eeeeeeee! A hedgehog!? OMG!
