The worst part about taking pictures of this vulture was the stink coming from his food. So gross that the grossness really messed up my appetite for the lunch I was heading to. It was fried chicken (my lunch, not his).
This is the first up close interview I've done with a Turkey Vulture. Of course Sasha and I did once hang with some others Vultures way back in the day by Ink's lake.

Was that local? Years ago, I saw a vulture eating a cat in the middle of Ardenwood Rd, north of Fiesta.
Chris, this was right on Duval, about a block north of 38 1/2 street. I've only twice seen other turkey Vs eating their lunch in such proximity to humans since I moved here.
