Cedar Waxwings

If you recall, I ran into a flock of golden birds over Christmas of 2007. It was a bitter cold afternoon in Williamsburg, Mass. and their arrival proved my long held contention that, even in the dead of winter, you can find some nice animal shots. Well, the Waxwings made a repeat appearance this passed Christmas. This time they flocked to some trees right in our front yard. It was drizzling freezing rain, but the bird berries must have been thawed enough to looked appetizing. I like this last picture when when the Waxwing is staring right back at me.
