The Urban Naturalist

There are two very interesting things about this rabbit 1) It was chewing its own foot, and 2) it lives in the middle of DOWNTOWN CHICAGO.

I was in millennium park, you see. I had the vague hope of maybe getting some insect photos, all of a sudden I realized the place was FULL OF RABBITS. Quite a nice discovery for an urban naturalist.

Rabbit? That ain't no rabbit! That's some sort of mutated city rat. Geezus Christmas! Rabbits are cute...they do not inspire disgust and revulsion the way this hideous creature did when it violated my eyes. Go back, track this thing down and kill it!

Not only rabbits, my friend. Play the video, though there may be some parts hard to watch for a true nature enthusiast.

I agree with the Chu, it looks like some bizarre crossbreed rat from hell. Kinda cute, though.

Holy Crap Dude! That reminds me of the urban Coyotes that i saw (and failed to take pictures of) in Austin. I also like the thinly vieled tension between the anchor adn the reporter in the the clip you linked to. Thanks!
