It was hot, very hot and humid. I was nominally on a fossil finding expedition in a mosquito infested forest next to a creek. Many people would have fled the onslaught of mosquitoes. I spotted this toad and caught him. The problem was holding on to him with one hand and taking a picture with the other (I was there alone, you see.) I managed it and paid dearly in the form of hundreds of mosquito bites. I know I've show you other toads in the past, but it was worth it. Even if the photo is not the best it proves a simple point: I insist on sharing my animal friends with you!

You're simple point is the reason this blog has become my new favorite obsession. Keep up the good work. Any progress on the tiger suit?
No, no Tiger suit as of yet. But I did just get up close and personal with some Lions at the Chicago Zoo... (Thats for another post).
You look a bit like Jimmy Fallon in this foto.
