They were selling live Tilapia as well. Tilapia seems to be a pretty popular fish these days. In Austin people eat them in fish tacos. The Tilapia is a very lazy fish. This one was sleeping.

Are you sure that's a LIVE talapia?
Here's a little tidbit about talapia my old professor's Husban from Belize told me. Apparently this fish is extremely predatory, and in parts of Belize where the fish have escaped fish farms and gone into the wild waters, they have eaten native fish to the point to extinction. Native Belize folks are all pissed cause they hate the way this fish tastes.
